Why OwnIt exists
I’ve spent my career watching women do everything right — and still end up with less.
I’ve seen capable women earn well, save consistently, and still be nudged into “safe” decisions that quietly limit outcomes.
The problem wasn’t discipline or intelligence. It was how judgement was framed — with caution rewarded and fees treated as protection.
Women weren’t failing at money — the system was rewarded for keeping them cautious.
I know how much this matters because I’ve lived the consequences — health shocks, and being “sold safety” when it wasn’t.
That experience is why I focus on decisions — not advice. I help women make a small number of clear choices, then put systems in place so those decisions keep working.
OwnIt exists to help women keep financial power.
OwnIt was built for women who don’t want to be managed — they want their money to work for them.
